Campaigns form the framework for marketers to create new marketing campaigns with rules and actions. Campaigns are nothing but a sequence of rules that evaluate specific conditions and trigger actions based on the condition results. Before getting started with creating a new campaign, make sure that you have created a program. Campaigns are the subset of the program; therefore, it's important to create the program first before creating any campaign.
What are Default Campaigns in 99minds?
When you create a 99minds account, during the onboarding process, you will have the option to select the customer actions that you want to reward (for e.g., Share on Twitter, write a review, make a purchase, etc.,). Based on these selected actions, pre-defined campaign rules and actions will automatically be created during the onboarding process.
Once the setup is complete, when you log in to 99minds app, you will find the default campaigns are already available under the Campaign tab under the Program. These campaigns will contain the pre-defined campaign rules and actions that can be readily used by the customer once they have integrated their application with 99minds.
The 3 default campaigns that are created are -
- Ways to Earn
- Ways to Redeem
- Coupon Promotions
Pre-defined Rules and Actions
Each campaign has pre-defined rules that will evaluate a user activity based on defined conditions and trigger an appropriate action. These pre-defined rules and actions will be available based on the actions that were selected during the onboarding process.
For example, say, you selected the following actions to reward the customer - Spend $100, Make a Purchase, Create an Account, Reach 3rd Purchase. In this case, the "Ways to Earn" default campaign will only have Rules and Actions for these specific selected actions (as shown in the below picture).
What's Next?
In addition to the default campaigns, you can also Create New Campaigns according to your requirements. Within the campaign, you can use the Rule Builder to create Rules and Actions according to the business needs. Each link will explain the contents of the tabs in detail.
