Once you have created a new campaign, the campaign will be listed in the Campaigns tab. Clicking the campaign will open the campaign dashboard. The Campaign Dashboard provides an overview of the campaign and the associated components of the campaign such as the Rule Builder, Campaign Settings. The items highlighted in yellow with an information icon next to it are the ones to be configured in the Campaign Settings. This article will help you to understand the process of configuring the Campaign Settings.
Let's take a look at the components of the Campaign Dashboard -
- Campaign Details - Give your campaign a name and a description. This can be done in the Campaign Settings page.
- Campaign State - This should be the last step in activating your campaign. A campaign can be in five different states - Draft, Scheduled, Expired, Disabled and Active. While building the campaign, it will be in Draft state. Once you have filled all the details, created the rules, actions, and coupons, you can Enable the campaign.
- Campaign Schedule - Set the timeframe when your campaign will be active. For example, a specific campaign should only be active in during Black Friday sale. You can set the start and end date of a campaign program.
- Rule Builder - The primary step to activate your campaign is to define the rules. The Rule Builder is where you define the logic of your campaign.
